THE STORY
"Mary Poppins", based on the books by P.L. Travers and the Disney film, tells the story of the Banks family in London, whose lives are transformed by the arrival of the magical nanny, Mary Poppins. Mr. and Mrs. Banks struggle with their children, Jane and Michael, who have driven away numerous nannies. Mary Poppins arrives and, using a combination of common sense and magic, helps the children and their parents learn to value each other again. The musical features memorable adventures, teaches important lessons, and explores themes of family, redemption, and the power of imagination.
